What began as a dream rooted in African resilience has grown into a global movement of healing, education, and empowerment. Together, we are a compass—pointing toward hope.

About Us

Who We Are

MediMigrant Compass e.V. is a nonprofit organization founded in 2019 by Solace Yaa Gawu, a certified nurse and transcultural therapy specialist. Formerly known as MyHealth MyAfrica Team e.V., our mission has expanded to include migrants and changemakers from across the globe.

Why the Name Change?

As of 2024, our membership has become beautifully diverse—reflecting not only African heritage but also active engagement from individuals across South America, Madagascar, Eastern Europe, and other regions. To honor this evolution, we are transitioning from MyHealth MyAfrica Team e.V. to MediMigrant Compass e.V.—a name that better reflects our inclusive, global vision.

Our Vision is foster health, education, and social inclusion across borders—empowering individuals to thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.
